Amanda, Allure is a super cool flower - it blooms with different colors each and every time.

Rene, Palm Springs is a wonderful cultivar, very big and bright and has tons of flowers that really stand out in the garden :-)

Thus the meaning of it's name!! It's ALLURING! Soooo pretty ...

I was drooling over your schizo bud, Amanda, I'm yet to see one on my almost 5 ft tall plant. It's really starting to get annoying, it takes up so much room, yet does not produce blooms...... I'm not clipping it but it will take up more than it's fair share of space in my basement this winter......Okay I'll give it a couple more years.. Really nice pics, even the funky wind blown Love Story. The wind can do a number on the blooms, for sure.

Crowded but with good air flow. That works. Stopping for a breath, maybe! lol

Ha ha, AuntB - have patience with your Schizo. I'm telling you, the one on the left in my bed hasn't had but maybe 1 bloom over the last few months, and the littler one on the right is blooming like CRAZY! Maybe you could take a cutting from your non-blooming one and have 2 plants so that way if one's not blooming, maybe the other one will be (as in my case)? But that's up to you.

I'm still completely undecided as to whether or not I'm going to grow mine in the tree form or the bush form. I'm thinking I'll get more blooms with the bush form but ... I just don't know yet.

I am limited for space also, live in a mobile home park with a hankerchief yard. I manage to sqeeze a few in tho! Lorine

Amanda, I bet your yard isn't as outta-room as mine ;-) There is ALWAYS more room for hibiscus is my motto!

And a new one for me...Dragon's Breath! I've been anxiously waiting for this one to bloom and it was worth the wait! It's a little chewed up around the edges but the color is gorgeous.

Today was a great hibiscus day for me--not only did Dragon's Breath bloom for the first time, but I got 5 new plants in the mail from Matt! (Amber Suzanne, Cool It, Heartbreak Hotel, Barry Schleuter, and Antique Treasure)

Now for today (Thursday). I was hoping two first time bloomers would open (Georgia's Thunder and Cherry Appaloosa), but I guess I'll have to wait one more day (I'm SO impatient!) :-(

My favorite pic first today - I had a stunningly beautiful 8 blooms on Cinnamon Girl today.

I've got a few twins today too - first two blooms like this on Voodoo Queen.

Two like this on Black Jack.
