Blooms October 9th - 12th

How about a new thread from today through week's end?

First up is an up-close of the beautiful Night Fire.

Next is Molten Lava. Although this one didn't get crushed, its branches went askew with the wind, so I went ahead and repotted it. Fortunately, it appears no blooms/buds were lost.

Voodoo Queen apparently approves of her new home and is celebrating with a new bloom.

The Big Easy also got displaced - only look at the top part of the bloom though - looks like I had a bit of damage on the bottom section.

They are all great, but gotta luv that first shot..WOW!

Kyle, I am just in love with the dark color of Night Fire :-) It seems to bloom quite a lot too!

Cajun Blue with some pink on the edges.

Last is Love Story - the bud really got knocked around in the wind, I'm surprised it didn't fall off, so the bloom is a little funky, but the colors are pretty :)

Mine are blooming in the basement now. I was down there today and had about six or eight of them with blooms.

I bet that really cheers up a basement! Is that where you keep your brugs for the winter too? If so, I'd sure love to see a picture of that room, it must be the most beautiful basement ever :)

I love Love Story...I will have to get that one next year!

Love Story and Molten Lava are prettier than normal. Strange what change of weather will do. And, you know how I feel about Nightfire. Mine had a double bloom over the weekend. Love that plant so much, I bought 2 more when I went to Matts.
I'm going to upload and shrink mine, then post from today.

C'est Bon

No blooms, but I am so proud of my Hawain Salmon, she is coming back from the "almost dead" with full vengence. If you remember, she was hit by lightning and lost all her branches.

No blooms yet due to high-powered water blasting, but here are some promises! First up is the Rum Runner ... should open tomorrow.

Lastly, Ode to Joy. This is a yellow double, can't wait to see it in bloom! If it opens tomorrow, this will be my first for this one! :)
