Lipstick is IN!

Beautiful, BC(Zone 8b)

I've noticed quite a significant number of women using bright lipstick reminiscent of the 50's/early 60's style around town. MSN has an article about this: http://lifestyle.sympatico.msn.ca/Fall+beauty+Lipstick+makes+a+comeback+/FashionandBeauty/ContentPosting_CL.aspx?isfa=1&newsitemid=239075&feedname=TRANS-ELLECANADA&show=True&number=0&showbyline=True&subtitle=&detect=&abc=abc
Nothing stands out in my mind more about this style than this picture in Alfred B. Graf's book, "Tropica", page 122 showing a magnificent Philodendron with a smiling lady in a bright red jacket and red lipstick.

Too bad, I always look terrible in lipstick...like some kind of a clown!

I still prefer to look more 'natural'...and no one I've ever known has *bright red* lips! (Ü)
I admit, it looks great on some women....not me!

Reminds me of that lipstick commercial, where 'Julie' is looking for the right shade of lipstick, and she says she prefers people not to think "Here come Julie's Lips!"

I like lipstick but it don't like me. I can never get it on right and have it stay.

this kind of reminds me of the Wendy's commercial where the teeth and the lips are talking to each other.
