October Bingo Calls #2

Thats how it usually goes for me to until the very end then the final calls just dance all around me...leaving me needing the ones that weren't called!!..LOL..Its so much fun tho anyway : )

Oh Kim, you truly are an artist!! I love your work! My MIL did some fancy work but nothing like yours. That Victorian Lady is something else! But the baby dress takes the cake, What a keepsake! Thanks for sharing! :))

Kim, those are spectacular!! I've never seen designs like that before! Amazing! You keep that dream of a greenhouse! You never know when things might fall right into place for you, and you need to be ready for it if it does!

They change her location every week or two, they say. Sometimes she's very easy to find, other times...not so much... LOL

Yes, the lightball is made with solo cups. I want to hang a few of them in the big pine tree in my front yard this winter :)
I am so tired this morning but can't sleep as I am SO excited about my new babies coming. I ordered them yesterday from Brennan's and Lyndon Lyons.......do you think they will be here today? LMAO
I have a couple babies too from Gail's sale that she mailed Tuesday...with today being Thursday......well, maybe not. I have to pick up a couple of items for the "nursery" (vermiculite and BIG ziplock bags) before they arrive so I would say most likely tomorrow.
I'll be sleeping by 7:00 tonight *lol*

They are beautiful Kin. My aunt also crochet doiles. Nothing as fancy as yours. I have 3 of them. i treasure them and keep them in the guest room and my bedroom.

I always had a heck of a time finding that darn dog "Lucy" on Rob's website. I get frustrated sitting for hours trying to find the page with her .... only got the free plant once when Rain told me where to find her. Rain, you and Cedarnest are good!

Brenda: Hope you enjoy whatever you order from Rob's. I've ordered from there about 4 times and don't know if I will again because of the size of the plants being so small ... I have lost 3 or 4 from orders I've rec'd from the Violet Barn. They were just so tiny, and I just don't have much luck most of the time with plants that small. His plants are healthy, so it had everything to do with me, not the plants. If I ever do place an order I know to ask a couple of you to find "Lucy" for me to receive the free plant!

Lin what dog??????? Brenda I don't think I am getting through to you. Three out of eight isn't very good.

The dog "Lucy" is on the Violet Barn website. When you place an order if you search and search and search some more .... somewhere on their site is a picture of their dog "Lucy" with a caption saying something. If you find that photo and write what she is saying when placing your order, they will send you an extra plant free with your order! I don't have a lot of patience and get real tired of going from page to page looking for the dang dog .... I am not lazzy (most of the time) but I get frustrated not being able to find the dog. So, I usually end up buying from Bluebird because they send you a free plant and you don't have to look for anything!

Lin you sound like me. I want to find it now not days from now.

Yes, you yell bingo when all 15 choices you made for your card have been called!! Does this mean your getting close Megin? 10 for 10 perhaps?? That would be really something!

I'm with you Lin as far as ordering any more streps from Robs and probably violets too. They are so tiny and I struggle with them! But I wanted the two Petroscomeas that I have on the Bingo list this month and I could only find them there!!

Although my patience for searching elsewhere for the plants might equal my patience for searching for that dog!!! LOL

Hi MzzPool: Yep, that's the way the game is played! Did you get a card in to Threegardeners by the deadline of Oct 5th for this game? If not, we sure would love for you to join in on the next game ... seems like there's one every month, or just about! It is a lot of fun, and always some nice prizes donated by folks here on the AV forum! If you are not already in on this game, I sure hope you will join us sometime!

Nah, I'm not close -- have 5. I haven't had the best of luck with AV's, but I keep trying. Mine never seem to bloom. I ordered some leaves the other day and will try my hand with those. Thanks for the info!
