Hi, Moodene! Beautiful bloom!!! I love MM! I love the way they are white the first day and overnight they turn to that beautiful color! Mine is blooming now, but I am going to have to dig it up and move it, because it is hidden by two others that grew so large, they are covering it up! And it still blooms regularly, you just have to move the other brugs branches to see the blooms! I guess I will put it in a pot for winter and find a new location in the spring.
I enjoyed meetiing you at Joan's house! And Ken and Maggi are so sweet and generous! I am working my way back up to too many brugs!

MM is a grand flower, and a must for anyone half way serious about a Brug collection. I've a few buds I'm cheering on now.

It must be one big bloom since mine hasnt even budged ..I have one lone blossom and my weather is going to get cooler soon.....Judy
Well I did get few nights of barely cool weather..but it is up in the 90's during the day..and it rained again..

Your brug is soooooo pretty!!!!! One day, I want one if you ever have cuttings, rooted or not. Please put me on a list. Joan gave me lots of cuttings but that one is notin the bunch. I think she gave me Mountain Treasure. Are they from the same mother pod and cross?
I enjoyed seeing all the DG friends at the RU and look forward to the next one.

I don't know that answer if they came from the same mother pod since I don't do any hybridizing to know but maybe someone will speak up and tell us. I juist rather start seeds or grow plants..lol....

Shirley, what do you mean that mountain magic and mountain treasure are from the same pod???..doesnt that mean they are the same brug?..I so confused...lol..Judy
No, Judy, every seed in a pod has a different make-up, even tho it might not be visible in every seedling. They can cross to each other like other brugs. If you have the time to go through some of the threads that Monika started back in 2003, you can see several brugmansia that she named from the same pod, all with a little different look. Rubirosa is one from a pod of many keepers.

Lou, if you can't come down, maybe we need to come up to your place. Yes I am inviting myself. We have MM and we can get you cuttings above the Y so you will not have to wait too long to see blooms. We will be going down to Nadine's in a few weeks to talk plants and just hang out. You probably have your hands full trying to root all the cuttings you took home from the RU. Let us know what rooted and what didn't and we can go from there.

I have about 10 different brugs but not that MM. It is a pretty one and would like to get a start. Also had a var. one-Peaches and Cream ?- but it reverted back to green. Would like to get another var. one too.
