Reading our own posts / the posts of others

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Hello Dave et all,

In looking for a particular post by another member,
I right clicked on the name to find the option of
"View the threads ____ has started."

In looking at my own right click, the option of
"View the posts you have made." is present.

Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place, but the first
option does not reveal all of the person's posts, only
those which began a thread. Am I overlooking the
option to see all of a person's posts, initiating as well
as participating in a thread?

I've been thinking about this for some time, but only
thought to ask today. LOL.

Many thanks,
KM

As little as I know (LOL)...............it only shows the threads we have started.............not the posts.....................made on any forum................

We don't have the option of browsing through each others posts.

People make a lot more posts than they start new threads; it would take a tremendous toll on the server to round up someone's entire repertoire of posts for someone else to browse through.

If you know that a certain member made a post that you're looking for, AND you remember a particular word or phrase they included (or you remember the forum it was in), you can run a search that narrows it down by forum and/or poster: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/search.php

Ah, Terry, that makes sense.

Many thanks, KM
