The heavy rains this spring and summer have eroded the dirt away from the cemented posts on my 6 foot privacy fence and now it is trying to fall over. I thought I would just get another fence put up, then realized the erosion must be taken care of first. What to do? Any ideas? I am thinking maybe a retaining wall and then put the fence on top of it, but not sure if that will help. I can't even plant any shrubs or trees next to the fence because the dirt gets washed away. It is on a hill. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Need advice on soil erosion problem...
Sugarplum I can't help you but maybe someone in the Landscaping forum can. That would be a better place to post the question unless you already did.
Thanks ves522. I haven't, but did realize that's probably where this question should have gone.
