How's the fall coming?
Looking for decorating ideas for the home.

Lots of fall color here, but no ideas for decorating! I haven't even bought a potted chrysanthemum for the front porch this year. I've been too busy gardening and getting the greenhouse winterized to think about the house I'm living in.

Peak time is anybody's guess this year, we have had so little rain. Some leaves are just dropping without changing color.

I'm spending the weekend nursing a sick cat.

Well I hope the kitty is feeling better...What's wrong with kitty?
My dog is driving me crazy...

Stumpy the tail-less tabby had bladder stones. Now she has an incision on her stomach that needs to be bathed in iodine solution twice a day. Lucky for me she likes lying on her back with all four legs in the air.

Since putting the older doge Cole down she's been a pain in the behind...
I bought her a new bed a few day later and she had it ripped to pieces in about a week...since then I have given her a square custion but she has started to climbing in to bed with me and hubby without waking us...

I've been trying to post a picture of Stumpy in her "legs in the air" pose, but I'm on dial-up and it was taking too long. You'll just have to use your imagination. Funny how pets don't use their beds, but prefer to sleep in or on their owners' bed. Neither of our cats will sleep in a pet bed, but we wake up to find them sleeping on us. How big is your dog? Not too heavy I hope.

Edited to say, I've got to go now. Maybe someone else will have some decorating ideas for you!

What sort of decorating are you trying to do anyway - fall?Halloween?Packer season ;)~?

Autumn

I've never done any autumn stuff in the house, just halloween. Outside stuff is easier with the corn/pumpkins/gourds/hay bales.

does the wife do all the decorating?

I'm not really sure what she does! It's 50/50 I guess. She's not overly handy or artistic.
