Beth, It's nasty tasting. Better use honey or sugar. Might even need some coffee creamer to dull the taste. There's nothing any better for tonsilitis, will
take the swelling right out. A small child can't drink it as it can bring on convulsions. A compound called thujone is the culprit. It's still an excellent healing herb. Our 8 yr old DGS had swollen tonsils and we made the tea and had
him gargle. The results were amazing.
X, it's good to have some knowledge of herbs in order to use them safely.

If you go for diner dash .. get 1 or 2 first to learn the ropes .. I just bought diner dash 4 today its new and its a bear! But I love it.
