Dahlias, Zinnias, Roses, Cosmos ...etc...
nite nite everyone!!! more will come later.... I am so tired!!!
Very nice. Regarding the lavender/white Dahlias ("ah so lovely!!!)....I see nine blooms. How many plants are there? Did you pinch off the center shoot to make it (them) branch out?
Great shots Kass! Lots of great roses and dahlias. But that hand pose is a Celeste trademark. You need her written consent to use it!!
Looks great Kass - you are well deserved to be proud. The striped zinnias are nice, good flower production on your dahlias, I like some of the roses. Kind of light on the cosmos ;)
Oh how lovely all your flowers are Kassia. It is very obvious that you enjoy them so much. Isn't tending a garden amazing. I still get a kick out of it every spring when all the plants awaken for the first time. Enjoy all your hard work you have earned it and thank-you for sharing your excitement and garden with all of us. :)
David I just planted and watered the dahlias... and cut blooms when they look beaten up... never knew of pinching the middle one... oh now I know!!!! I am pretty much a newbee regarding dahlias...
Victor that's exacly what I was thinking.... let me do a Celeste hand shot!!!! and show off my graduation ring my mom got me from Brazil... Nursing graduation rings in Brazil have a emerald, and the 2 symbols for nursing... the Nightgale lamp of learning and the caduceus... so I am showing off!!!
Al, coming from you I feel honored... I am hooked on dahlias... and I think is all your fault...!!! needless to say dahlia bouquets are way way way more lasting than roses... oh well... what can I say... roses are more work than dahlias in a way... but they both are my favorites now...
Ngam, it's so amazing... I never knew I would love it so much...
right now is raining and I have some lillies (Celeste) to plant and also some irises I got from Wanda (DG) and I am so very temped to just go in rain and do it... at least for an hour... oh the plants look so happy outside right now...
the first poppies of the year!!!
Wow Kassia! Great job!!
