I cannot copy this to my Trade (want) List

Robertstown, Australia(Zone 10a)

When I try this is the message I get -

GJ: Copying the RID: 154035

Jump to RID:

Search your journal:

Please select the category in your tradelist where you would like this copy to be placed.

How do I give my trade list categories? It has only the choices for want or have? Kaelkitty.

Bump, cause I really need to be able to post from my journal to my tradelist, KK.

I think there's some sort of bug with moving from journal to tradelist. I don't do trading, but when I saw your post I went to my journal and randomly selected a plant to move to my tradelist just to see how it worked. When it asked me to choose a category, there were lists of different types of plants and different types of seeds (these weren't categories that I made up, they were ones that the computer came up with automatically so I'm not sure why you didn't see anything). But when I clicked on a category, it took me to an error screen that said 404 Page Not Found and had this text underneath "The requested URL /trading/edit/copygj.php?catid=313390&rid=115697 was not found on this server"

I know Dave made some changes to the tradelists a while back, so maybe when he did that it messed up the adding it from your journal feature. So until the bug gets fixed, you've got 2 options, either look the plant up in PF and add it that way, or you can enter it manually.

Yes, but I've got nearly 500 plants in my Succulent Category alone, and I want to put at least a third of them up for trades. It has taken me about two months to get to this stage, and I want to get on with new things - (I've still got over 600 cacti records to add, plus a stack of miscellaneous plants). The thought of basically redoing large chunks of that work all over again is a bit daunting!

I'm going to bump this again as I'm not sure if Dave has seen it. I'm journalising like mad at the moment - almost 1000 plants entered and about 800 to go (I think). Once I get my infrastructure sorted out I hope to have a lot more stuff to put into Plant Files, I just wish I could speed up the photo upload! TTFN, Kaelkitty.
