DG problems?
Where exactly are you seeing the incorrect dates? Assuming you're talking about the date that shows up in the upper right corner of the screen on each page, when I go to all the pages you mention, the date is correct. First thing I'd do is try doing a shift-refresh on the pages that are showing the wrong date, that will force your computer to load the current version of the page.
Yes incorrect date at the right top of the page. I hit the refresh button on the tool bar is that what you are talking about? Didn't work.
You have to hold down the shift key while you're clicking that refresh button, that'll force the computer to load the most recent version of the page. Just clicking refresh doesn't always do it.
I held the shift key and hit refresh several times and it didn't do anything, I also tried to logout and then in again with no luck.
Rebooted?
Were you still holding down shift when you clicked refresh, or did you press shift and let go before you clicked on refresh? You need to be holding down the shift key or else it won't work.
I've rebooted several times aparently this started the 4th cause my d-mail is dated the 4th. I turn my computer off every night.
I held the shift key for quite a while cause my computer is slow. I'll try it again and hold it for two minutes lol I held it for a minute the last time :)
It's odd cause I can get in on my sedum coop thread and this one.
LeBug:
If your browser is cached ... try clearing it:
For Firefox: Tools>Options>AdvancedButton>NetworkTab>PressTheClearNowButton
Other browsers, I dunno
Some accelerator software can do odd things -- have you installed any? -- if so, try clearing that cache as well.

I've been having trouble with my accelerator button from earthlink lately it won't stay on, that has got to be the problem, I turned it off and the dates are right but now I don't have the pretty picture and the logo of Dave's Garden at the top. I'll call earthlink tomorrow and get it straightened out.
Thanks guys! I sure appreciate the help, this was driving me nuts lol
Thanks again!
Lea
LeBug:
Lots of luck w/ earthlink.
If you still have problems, I sent you a d-mail w/ specifics which may help. Good luck, as I mentioned in the d-mail, we had horrible problems w/ them in August -- bad enough to make major change.

You know that's really a shame, I have had Earthlink for so long I guess everything good must come to an end. You have just helped me make that decision that I've been wanting to make!
Thanks,
Lea
I, too, had horrible problems with Earthlink. I started documenting everything and had almost 15 pages of problems before I told them what they could do with their service. They didn't seem to care. Since I moved to AT&T I've had few problems and those I did have were solved quickly.
I used to never have problems with earthlink and was very happy with them but here lately way too many problems I'm just going with the broadband with cable this week I hope everyone is happy with them I never seem to find these things out until I do them lol
I've been on cable for several years now & wouldn't live without it!! In fact, when I was house shopping, that was the #1 priority, that it had cable internet access. ('course, I work on the internet)
I have Charter now, and they have a **super** cable internet service.
Thank you that is good to know! charter.com? I'll check it out is it any cheaper? I pay 21.95 for earthlink not sure what cable's internet will be.
It's not cheap - cable never is. But to me, it is SOOOOOOOO worth it. I think the base price here for regular cable internet at 3500kps is around $40, but I pay for a double upgrade to 10,000kps which costs me about $80/mo (my connection is screaming fast!). Dial-up internet, for comparison, usually runs under 1000 kps - it's been a very long time since I've been on dial-up, so I don't remember exactly.
If you have cable TV, they usually have package deals that are cheaper. When I was in NY we had Time Warner with Roadrunner cable and I had 500 channels, cable internet & cable phone for about $120/mo.

In our area both AT&T and Comcast (cable) are offering cable, high-speed Internet and digital voice for $99. I haven't gotten it yet because I'm not paying that much for what I have now (expanded cable, DSL and basic phone) and don't really need the additional services.
Our cable offered cable and broadband for 70 a month for a year they are offering phone service too but they don't have it in our area yet. That's just the basic cable I don't watch much tv.
