I just have to share a few photos made in a trade with Snowrose...............it doesn't get any better than this...............If she will keep trading with me, I will drive the state looking for what she is looking for (LOL)

Truly I am in such a state of gratitude and awe.............I am speechless..............haven't even potted them up yet..............

Starting with a blooming 'Yukako'....................prettiest chimera or any av I have ever seen...........besides green and purple are two of my very favorite colors.............

This is a Monolena primulaeflora.................I looked it up and what a magnificent plant............maybe later i can come back and add the hyperlinks to pictures.............

This is 'Tiger'.................been looking for her for a long long time...........

Begonia 'Bonita Shea'

You talk about a grower..............she grew this Begonia 'Capricorn' from a leaf and she wicks this plant............

She sent me in a trade 'Harmony's Little Stinker' as a baby and she is getting ready to bloom..............can you see the little pink buds right in the front of the pic...........

This is the very first bloom on Ian Selena (i think) (Moon Goddess) that Allison sent to me as my very first trade on DG..............the first blooms are never quite as good as they get the second time around............

I am in the process of propagating a lot of begonias.........look at her hot pink to white bloom..........

This is Rozoviyi Zhemchug on her second round of blooms.........I did order her with Allison's suggestion as to what to order on my very first order............

Over the next few days I am going back through pictures to find some of my favorite trade plants..............while I find them..............please share some of your trades..........

Rain has been patiently waiting for an adenium...............when these didn't bloom all summer i told her she could have them...........I lied.........the blooms came on two days ago................

If this one doesn't bloom before the summer is over, maybe Rain can do a better job than i can!

My very first strep and I remember Rain sent it as a baby seedling............'Midas'


I won't post anymore ................but will find pictures in the next few days............just think..........none of us would have goodies if it weren't for all the good DGers................

You are correct, Gail! There are so many nice people here on DG, and especially on the AV forum.

I too, have had a couple of wonderful trades with wonderful people, and I look forward to many more! Beautiful plants you've got there! I love that Begonia 'Capricorn'... I don't think I've ever seen that one!

Snow assures me that i can start a baby factory once they start suckering.............just couldn't stand to take the crown out of Harmony's Little Stinker....................when I finally get this baby factory going with the chimeras..........i will trade............now I have quite a few of them.............I have to be patient...........can you believe that Snowrose got that baby to bloom that young?????????? It blows my mind away............

Oh Gail, those are beautiful! I really need to get my act together with the AVs, if for no other reason than to be able to grow 'Yukako' and 'Harmony's Little Stinker'! LOL 'Bonita Shea' is the begonia Snow sent me that I posted the picture of that you liked so much. Is it not to die for?? I told you it was much prettier in person than in the pictures!

Gail, that 'Midas' Strep was the very first Strep I ever grew from a leaf. :o) I'm so happy to see it blooming so beautifully for you!

That sinningia Plantladylin is called 'Mackenzie'..................she is getting ready to bloom again I noticed yesterday..........

I love that sinningia 'Mackenzie' too. Dark leaves and red and white blossoms. Really nice.

That begonia 'Bonita Shea' I must agree with Rain is so much prettier in person. Something about it. When it grows larger, it begins to trail.

I also agree on strep 'Midas'. It might be considered plain to some but I love it's more old fashioned charm and non-stop blooming. I will always grow it.

I sent all the sinningias I had to people in the beginning because i was afraid I would kill them..............kept this one as I had two of them..................Jan is waiting until the weather is cooler to send me back one I sent her called 'Scarlet Red'............prettiest thing I have ever seen......... I won't post her again. She has been posted so many times i am embarrassed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just went out to our local nursery....................love Helen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pictures that I fell in love with.........but they aren't for sale yet........she needs to reproduce them first.............

All she knows about this one is that it is a Jatropha of some kind...........check out the caudex............the blooms are like miniature regular blooms on the Spicy Red and Baby Pink that I have..........the colors are orange and red in these wonderful tiny blooms..........

She is the happiest person I have ever known............loves what she does........

That Starfish looking one is a Stapelia of some sort ... don't know which one though.
