Sept. Bingo Page 1

makshi, I'm so dense. I just realized that we're yappin' about all kinds of things on your Bingo thread. I'm so sorry! Please forgive! I thought we were on one of my picture threads. We'll move it over there.

Lin, let's take this discussion over to my picture thread. Sorry for interrupting the Bingo flow ladies! :o)

Well rats Gail, I was really hoping those First Class CD's would have a picture of "Brenda" as I'm not finding it anywhere else. If I understand the terminology right it was named in 1940, hope she hasn't come and gone....

These are all sounding gorgeous!

~Brenda

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

There are a lot of pictures missing on the FC, Brenda.................doesn't seem to be associated with age.......................

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Do you have a photo of your 'Karen' in bloom Gail? I could only find one photo, and now I can't find it again.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I feel sure I do...................but I am running late to meet a lady................will be back on this afternoon, karen.....................

Crossville, TN(Zone 6b)

I don't care that we are talking about other things. I just want to make sure I don't leave anyone off of the list. I am going to prints it on Mon. on here and anyone left off can let me know. Then on Tues. sometime I will print the final list and will call later that day I hope.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Maybe I'm missing something, but when do we have time to get our cards in if you're printing the final list of choices on Tuesday and starting calls later that same day? I'm probably just having a blond moment... :-)

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Don't give me a hard time. I am having the blond moment and I don't have blond hair. Okay everyone has to have there named one in by tomorrow at midnight. I will post a list on Sat. (Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise). You will have until Tuesday midnight to send you card. If that going to work with everyone? If not I can change it until Wed.

(Zone 1)

I remember you said you were going to start calls on Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday, but is there anyway you could post your master list of 30-35 over the weekend so folks will have enough time to select what they want from the list and get their cards in to me? With many people having jobs and kids, it would give them a bit more time to join in.

(Zone 1)

hee hee .... I have those Blonde moments quite often anymore! My blonde comes from a bottle and as I get older I keep using the excuse: "It's not that I'm old and blonde, it's all those chemicals I've been putting on my head since the age of 16!! I do believe sometimes that it's seeped into my brain .... given me a blonde brain!

:)

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

LOL... not trying to give you a hard time! I just didn't want to be missing something.... or get distracted during the day on Tuesday and miss out on getting my card in before the first call!

If it looks like we could use more time for people to get picks and calls in, I don't think you have to hold yourself to the Sept. 4 date for starting calls... we've got all month! :-)

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I have the list pretty much done. I am waiting to see if anyone else wants to put in there named plant. I can't find pictures of some of them.
I have to go take a little rest now see you later.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I only see about a dozen people who've posted to this thread, but I'm guessing lots more have simply Dmailed their pick to Makshi if she's got a whole list already! This is going to be fun... and I'm definitely saving the list of "special" plants!

After a very sweet Dmail from Snowrose ...how could I not play this time?? So I'm in again and have already sent my plant to Makshi.......

Strep Susie---Large magenta purple blooms with deep yellow throats, medium green foliage. (Oglevee)

(Zone 1)

Welcome Susan .... I think we are up to 15 players so far for this game!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I think I have 12 that is all. I have picked other plants to fill in. I will wait to see if anyone joins tomorrow and if not I will go ahead and post the list. Anyone wanting to join between than and the time to call just won't have there named one on the list. That is okay if it happens.

Emporia, KS(Zone 5b)

Found Jolene: http://www.avsa.org/Photographs/JoleneLrg.jpg#http://../Photographs/JoleneLrg.jpg#

Can someone please look up the description?

(Zone 1)

Sounds good Makshi! I am new at this Card Holding job so I would love some pointers on exactly what I am doing!

Am I correct that I just receive everyone's card through d-mail and when someone calls bingo I just check their card and confirm it?

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I don't seem to have everyones pick. I haven't figured out who is missing yet.
