Plant Files Progress Report

There are a very select few of my AVs that really get special attention from me, and you can be sure that 'Merlot' will be one of those. :o)

I am going to wait and come back late this afternoon and work..................gotta gotta get these babies planted up...................

OK I'm still working along. I'll be taking a break in a few minutes, too. :o)

The R section is now complete. :o)

(Except of course for those that didn't have descriptions available, but we've got a list and are working on finding those descriptions.)

I am learning soooo much as I go and my want list is building quickly.............you have some wonderful pics in the files, snowrose.......

I don't know how to sign up for more........................i can't do the left side of the page and jannich can't either..........which makes for too much work for rain.............she is helping both of us.................if someone knows how to do the left side, i will sign up for p's and t's.............

I don't mind doing them, Gail. I can't keep right up with both of you, but I don't see what it matters if I finish the same day you do or a couple days later. Do you?

Ah, you caught me! I went through the P's last night and checked to make sure the hybridizers and years were filled in if I could find them, and took out the winter interest and tissue culture checkmarks.

I'm sending a ton of reports now on the beginning of the R's where I was still checking tissue culture. Do you want me to stop sending those and just let one of you get them? I didn't do it on all the R section. I can find where I stopped. Or, I can just continue to send the error reports. Whichever is easiest for you. :o)

Hey, you know what? If you filled in the details to begin with, if you go to the bottom of the entry and click on 'Switch To Live View', you can edit them yourself. That only works if you were the one that filled in that field though.

Really?? I didn't know that!! Thank you for telling me! I'll just do that on the rest of them and that will keep y'all from having to. What a super feature! :o)

Sorry ladies...I've clicked live view on the last 5 or 6 and I'm not getting any options to change it, so I guess these are ones I didn't check that on. I'll continue to try live view, but will carry on with the error reports when it doesn't work.

Actually, when you click on live view and then send the report, it makes it easy for us to clean up a single field. :)

Thanks Joan and mystic.....................you just never know when we are going to be on the plant files........... am going to bed................but can't thank you enough for the work on the P's..............hybridizers and dates are the biggest pain...............

We're done cleaning up the "tissue culture" from the R's!! I'm done for today. LOL I can't even remember what letter I'm supposed to move to next, but I'll figure it out in the morning.

You know what I just realized is going to be one of the most difficult parts of this whole process? Clearing all those error reports out of my inbox!!! LOL

Here's a little trick. Highlight the first one, hold down the shift key and highlight the last one. Then it highlights all of them in between. Click delete. GONE!

Well, I was going to, but I had a couple dmails to answer, then you told me about the mail thing, and now I've got to go enter a couple details, just to try out the live view. It would keep me up all night wondering if it would work or not. LOL

I've asked Snow to mark on her A-Z list the ones that have been completed. Makes it easier for my frazzled mind to keep up with it. LOL
