Dave's Garden?
I, for one, am just astounded that you are willing to give us input and free will with your baby. All the time it takes for the back and forth with us and the time it takes to code a page is alot of work. Just wanted to let you know that we do appreciate you!
How many people are amazed at the work that Dave put's into
Absolutely! This site rocks, and I love that it's so dynamic :-)

I wouldn't know what to do with myself if it weren't for DG.....well....except maybe a wee bit more housework....
I second everything that's said. Kudos! Other than my email, I spend more time on this site than any other on the Internet. It's fabulous, and all because of you, Dave!

Adding my appreciation here! DG has enriched my life beyond anything I could possibly imagine. Because of DG I take more pictures of insects, spend my 'extra' time trying to ID them, learning all the time.
I can then help others with their queries, and we can all learn about the world around us and be much better informed and wiser. As someone else said, the more I learn the more I realise there is I need to or should know, and I am enjoying it immensely!
Thanks Dave!

I agree, Dave is doing a super job and I love Dave's Garden.
Thanks ^_^
Clapping!
I agree! Dave rocks!
Way back in the 'olden days' of DG...(when there were less than 500 members) we casually threw around the word 'juggernaut' as to how DG would eventually roll over all of the other inferior garden sites. Well, it happened.
Islandshari's article says it all...if ya'll haven't read it yet.
Dave puts a tremendous amount of time and effort into every change he makes here. Nothing is done lightly. His biggest concerns are happiness of his members and ease of navigation. No other programmer would EVER take into consideration all of the folks on dial-up. And as a member who used dial-up for many many years...I'm eternally grateful for his attention to that detail.
I've been puttering around with the new system, and now that I understand how it all works, I'm quite pleased. It's well thought out and very sensible. This site has just become so monstrous that it's going to be a challenge to program any enhancements. He may tweak it in the next few weeks, but it's ok if he doesn't either.
Dave has taken this giant site and still kept the small town feel about it. It's like a family who keeps growing. They love their house and don't want to move...so they add rooms so that everyone will be comfortable.

Well said!
Dust off those cobwebs, this is amazing and given the chance anyone who is having trouble understanding or adjusting should soon realise what a sparkling gem it is!
Dave, Dude! You ROCK! ~ Wallingford, King of the Nah-Nah Brotherhood of Manly Cats.
What all of you said -- and tripled.
Dave is amazing. This site is amazing.

I remember Dave's Garden from a few years ago when I visited and didn't find it to my liking at the time. It was so long ago that I don't even remember what put me off from becoming a member at the time.
But this June I was looking for some gardening information on ask.com, and up popped this amazing website! It was Dave's Garden again ... only really improved!! I was hooked from the first moment, and wrote out a check immediately to become a subscriber. (Sorry - I don't like credit cards!!)
In the few short months since I have been subscribed I have noticed that Dave is constantly listening to each of the members and working on making this website truly marvelous. There have been changes and improvements every week. And what's REALLY impressive is that if something doesn't work, or people don't like it, Dave goes back immediately to fix what's wrong.
There's something to be said for the dedication Dave puts into our community. I wish that more corporations followed the same guidelines and had the same integrity that Dave and Dave's Garden exhibits.
