Any interested beta testers for the new DG Layout?

I'll be launching the new DG layout on Monday, but I'd love it if some members would like to do some beta testing for me. If you're interested, post here or dmail me for details. I'll be giving you a special URL to go to and would ask you to keep the URL private and dmail me any issues or bugs you find!

I hope this beta works with my web-tv..........

I would also love to test it for you should you need more people.

I don't like it -- the screen is cut off and I have to use the slider bar to read posts in the forums....I liked the tabs at the top instead of the left side a whole lot better.

Is it possible to add it to our preferences and be able to choose where we want it to appear? I'd prefer it to the far right becasue I'm having to scroll a bit to see all of the posts.

It has been a preference option all along. Click on My Tools - then preferences.

I'm not able to add anything to my favorites. it just comes up with a blank page.

I just think that big ole menu box is too big and just plain overkill.

thanks dave...I thought I checked ot before i ask...but I didn't understand it's called "navigation" :)
I got it moved...

Suzy.....if you didn't have the navigation box, how would you get to the specific areas within each tab?

I'm not sure I understand the question...The tabs going across the dark blue toolbar at the top -- same as always. (?)

I think it is the left navigation box/bar. It can be changed through preferences. I had the same issue and just changed mine to the right.

Suzy, try moving from this thread to your journal without using the box on the left (or right, if you moved it to the right.) It can be done, but it'll take twice the clicks ;o)

Uh, I must be on a different Dg than you -- it takes 3 x longer now to find MY journal. Maybe I need to reboot or something, but I don't see anything to click on to find ILLOQUINS Journal.

It's not a matter of clicks, it's a matter of screen changes and typing lcharacters on the keyboard.

Terri, Finding my journal had nothing to do with the side toolbar (the one I don't like) and everything to do with My Tools. ONce again, on the top toolbar. And finding Dave's Garden Forum took an extra click because forums is gone.

I see another thread where this chat might fit better, should I go there?
