HTML assistance, please?

Hello folks,

While I'm no html expert, I can get by when making web pages. However,
I have run into a problem and can't seem to solve it.

When you view an image online, there is an html option of showing text
on mouseover. I guess I've forgotten how to do this, as the page only
shows the text before the image loads, and not on mouseover.

I can't post an example of my html as it won't show up. Sigh.

Could anyone help me with the html for mouseover text? Many thanks!

Ah, wait a second, it isn't me, it is Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox and the alt Attribute

If you use the alt attribute in Firefox on images and image maps the text will not show on mouse-over as in other browsers.

Firefox uses the alt attribute the way it's meant to be used, like an alternative text if the image won't load, not as a mouse-over text.

Firefox does support mouse-over comments on images or image maps if you use a title attribute in the tag.

So, is there any way around this if one uses Firefox? Many thanks.
