By way of bumping this, the Bug and Insect ID forum could use a reminder to mark threads as solved, too.

Thanks Terry, I think this will help a lot.
Maybe kennedyh has some ideas but the only other thing I can think of is to suggest that people include where or what plant they found the critter on, but we can ask them about things like that in the posts.
