It's the smell in the evening that I love the most!
My daughter moved to Florida 18 months ago....the 3 things she misses the most is Mom's cooking, the pets, and Mom's lilies!! I make her a collage once a week and email it to her so she can see whats in bloom. She said she pretends she can smell it. LOL Here's a sample of what I send.....this one is just a mix of flowers from my gardens.
August 5th blooms
How sweet! Nice bunch of lilies you two have.
It's only Buggycrazy's website that is Canadian. But there are other resources up there ~ and they're excellent ones.
The Llily Nook http://www.lilynook.mb.ca/ and
S-W Gardens http://www.s-wgardens.com/
Moby, I'd forgot about The Lily Nook, but i've never seen the other one. Need to go check it out!
Shall I be quite wicked and share 1 more: YES, I believe I will be delightfully wicked!

OHHHH how about 2 instead!

wicked evil smile cause I know you're gonna spend money on lilies now!
Oh, did I forget in all my evil intentions to mention that your gardens are TDF.
TDF?
To Die For?
I thought in Lilyfan's case it was To Dig From. As in poching shovel does travel.. LOL To die for makes more sense.. :)
Why, isn't that L.henryi a cutie, sherrygirl!
Pixie..lovely collage..great idea for your daughter.
What is the name of the dayliy in the large section in the middle? I really like it.
magnolialover, You are so correct. I looked at my records and sure enough. LOL I planted it last October. I like it. It's different than what I already have. Also had Black Beauty bloom from the same co-op. I really like these different forms of lilies.
Sherry
ticker, I like that! To Dig From!!!!!!!! Sure would be easier on my pocketbook.
Lilyfan, you're so funny! :) Just get a giant bunny suit and not many would notice another bunny in their yard and then when they weren't looking... well... ;) Of course, you best be able to move like a jack rabbit or you might end up with buckshot in your posterior.. ;)
Very descriptive, Ticker. I can see that playing out now. I should teach DD, she actually has one(an heirloom bunny suit that my mom made us when we were kids), is it wrong to teach the young such a trick? Lol!
Starzz....I think that DL is "Dream Legacy" but I could be wrong.
My DH had surgery 6/5/07 and it has been a long 8 weeks, my memory is burned out and so is my patience! LOL
ticker, I think I will be a nocturnal rabbit, the chances of getting a good shot in is pretty rare when the owners are asleep! Reminder to self: check for dogs and bring miners light.
And dog whistle or dog treats ;)
If they are male dogs...just bring a female or a T-bone steak.....the dogs will not be a problem!
lets see; trip to Canada, bunny suit, flashlight, female dog, t-bone steak, poaching shovel, and tail shield. Ya'all know what I think: those lilies and gardens are becoming To Die For!

Magnolia, I really just worry about you sometimes. :) LOL
Lilyfan, I want to see you get through security in a bunny suit. Be it TSA or Border Security, I want to watch! LOL Hey, do they have dogs at those security posts? :)
Pixie, sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he's doing well now..
Diann
Do you think those border guards can be bribed with cookies? Big bunny carrying easter basket filled with cookies and extra T-bones just in case in Sept? Might be real interesting.
Hey, I could be bribed with cookies and t-bones!! ;)
Well bunny lovers, I've stretched my not so creative mind as far as it wants to go!!!!!
We have been getting a very much needed rain since about 5 pm last night. I could have done without the lightening and the winds, but if that is what it took to get the rain.....It is actually still raining right now, but it is a gentle rain and so far no lightening.
The rain finally let up here. Got 2.25" since midnight ~ a bit too fast but I won't complain.
Sue, I still want to see you in a bunny suit. How could anyone resist that when you bat your little blue eyes??
or wiggle that powder puff tail? :) LOL
That powder puff tail is going to be protected with a tail shield in case of buckshot, so dream away!
The rain has ended for awhile, had 22 hours of rain with about 4 inches total. What tells me we really needed the rain is that there are NO puddles except on the paved streets and walks. The ground just drank it all up!
