August 5th blooms
lilyfan, that looks exactly like it! Thank you so much for helping me I.D. it!!!
pixie, glad I was able to help!
There is a long story behind my knowing who she is. Wanda and I were at a daylily garden and saw this lily so asked her if her tag was there and what was the name of that lilium. She pulled back the daylily foliage and said Gypsy and I yelled "YES! that's the name". I had lost my tag to rabbits or rake or grandchildren and it had been on the tip of my brain for weeks as I saw that lovely girl everyday on my garden walk throughs!!!
It is a beautiful asiatic. Mine was in flower for about a month and was about 4' tall. That April freeze didn't seem to hurt her at all.
Wow Pixie! You have beautiful lilies! Keep the pictures coming, ok?
Thanks Ticker...have a few more lilies that have yet to bloom. Arabian Red, Siberia, Mojave, Rosey Dawn and San Souci to name a few....everything is late here normally but this year they seem even later.
That's quite alright. :) Most everything is done here except some I have in pots. Keep the pictures coming, we need our lily fixes. :)
Momcat..is the second one maybe 'Alchemy' ? And the first one "Luminaries"?
I'm just going out on a limb here and taking a wild stab.

I bet that is 'Lovely Girl'. I was in a co-op last year and what was to be 'Lovely Girl', was definitely not. I think from now on, I'll just stick with what I know. It is a lovely lily.
So much beauty on one page. Thank you for sharing it.
Pixie love golden stargazer

Appreciate the late oriental pics. I've got only 3 lilies left to bloom.
The lilies are planted beside my gazebo..
I have Tom Pouce in another area and will post when he blooms..any day now.
I always say I will get more next year..and never seem to get to it.
I did buy 1 yellow stargazer bulb this spring..but it hasn't gotten more than 8" tall..maybe next year. I have trouble with rabbits eating mine too, and the red lily beetles are bad here. In this photo taken yesterday..you can see that the Trumpet lilies are finished...
I enjoyed seeing all your different varieties..we don't seem to have a big selection at our local garden centres.
Cheers,
Carol
Starzz. I love you gazebo, it looks like a nice quiet place to relax.
If you want a few good places to buy lily bulbs, try these places. I can't say enought good things about these sellers!

this one I believe only ships in the spring, but you can order during the hum-drum winter months and give you something to look forward to.
I'm sure some of the pro's can give you more place's to buy from. These are my favorites!!
Pixie
How do you display your lilies..are they all in one bed or placed around in different beds?
You sure have a beautiful collection.
Cheers,
Carol
Oh Pixie..thanks so much. I see those links are for Canada..Yippee!
I will check them out.
Thanks for the compliment on my Gazebo..I do love it!..but you know I like to sit outside and look at it more than sitting inside on those hard chairs..LOL
Cheers,
Carol
Pixie..LOL I just went to Buggycrazy's website..and see that it is in Oregon..I guess the .ca made me think they were in Canada. What a tirade on the home page..sounds like she/he has quite a time with the neighbours.
I have some in beds with daylilies, phlox, blanket flower, iris, ect...
The bed I built last year was for all the lily bulbs I had ordered. I needed a bed just for those! LOL I have added clematis, daylilies, blanket flowers and pansy's to it.
