I have a white one but it is not blooming yet. If you do not find anyone else I will trade with you once I have seeds.

I germinate my Ipomeoa carnea seeds the exact same way as I do my other Morning Glory seeds and I usually get 100% germination.

I have three Colors - Pink Form; Purple Form; and White Form
Also, they all root VERY easily in water.

You should get LOTS of seeds from your plant, at least I do on my Pink Form. I've just started this year the Purple Form and the White Form.
AND, YOU WERE READING MY MIND.
I have a White Form potted up that I would LOVE to trade you for cutting from your plant - very curious if I will get the same color as yours, which is awesome.

Emma, I've noted how well your germination works for this species. Have other species germinated well with your technique, too? Others not? Many thank you's in advance.

And thanks to all for the great propagating info & experience for this species - good thread, Linda

Hi!! Just ran across this thread and wanted to post a couple of my morning glory pics. A gardening friend sent me six rooted cuttings of the pink MG's about a year ago. I planted them at the end of last summer and this summer they got HUGE. I've had to take two out because they've grown so big and the root system is tree-like. I did not get very many seed pods last year; however, this year, I'm inundated with them. They are not easy to see,,,, especially with the bees swarmming all over the plant LOL!! My challenge is catching the pods when they turn brown, but before they split open and eject that cute furry seed!

Here's a pic of the seed pod before it turns brown.

This is mine. Is it considered the pink or the purple? I've always called it lavender.
