Those OTs are some strong lilies, aren't they? I'm glad they are coming around for you now, mainiac. Perfect!

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

I really love the OT's they are wonderful lilies, and yours are just beautiful... Ok, who am I kidding, all lilies are wonderful lilies. :) LOL

I have a lot of OT's with missing tags, so if you recognize any of them, be sure to let me know!

This trumpet is actually more of a butter cream color. Very nice.. I think it is one of an unnamed series from the PNW sale

Something to look forward to. This is an unnamed, unregistered OT that was given to me several years ago and is easily 7 feet tall.

'Salmon Jewels', a little weaker on the stem (no matter if shaded or full sun), it always has been for me, but the flower itself is so worth the stake ;)

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Rats! I didn't add the picture.

"Landini" & "Centerfold"

Nice blend of color, pixie.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks Mag...wish Landini would multiply like Centerfold does!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

It very well may do that for you. Those asiatics are usually pretty reliable for multiplication, so it will only look better and better, that blend, every year.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

You know what has never increased for me? Pink Pagoda. I've had it for a few years, the stem gets taller and have a better display, but just that one.

Moby, after the way we carved up and carted off your garden last fall, you are lucky that ANYTHING is blooming!!!!!

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

Well moby, at least the deer haven't dined on your blooms 2 years in a row!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Noticed my deer hall dining hours opened early this week. Plantskydd to the rescue. That's pretty good longevity for a product, seeing is the last time I sprayed was early April.

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

I have really great results with it too. But I didn't get out there to spray when the buds were getting some size to them due to my boss' illness and my extended hours.

I am going to move them here so I won't be so far away from them and can take better care.

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

The only deer problem I have had this year is out at the farm; they nipped some of my green bean blossums even WITH using the plantskydd. And I have put it on several times. I am still picking 1-2 gallons at a time.

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Those must have been some mighty fine beans, TwinLakes.

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

They have been great; I cook up a big bunch of them with onion and bacon just to the crisp tender stage and refrigerate. We take a serving out and microwave it and they are still crisp.
I clean them and bag the rest up and share with my neighbors & friends. Of course, the guy who owns the farm gets a batch too; his wife loves them.
Picked a full 1# Orange Strawberry tomato yesterday; it was great; it will be about a week before they start coming on like gangbusters.
They are doing the best they ever have for me.

In the meantime I need to buy more lilies; I have been starting to cut back the iris.

When can lilies be cut back; I haven't ever tried that on them.
