August 9 Newsletter?

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

I was a bit suprised when I opened the newsletter and read it....0 content?

What happened to the news? Did nothing happen today? :}

That just happened to me this morning. No news to read,no gardening quote,nothing.

MM: You are probably right. The newsletter was empty this morning, and I'm investigating why right now.

I suspect that all the entries, believe it or not, overloaded my newsletter and caused it to time out with no content!!

It's my fault, though, for not programming it to look for that situation and cancel the mailing completely in this case.

Well, I'm going to see about fixing this this morning, and if it works, I'll mail out yesterday's newsletter again (content and all :) )

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again.

Dave

Okay, the newsletter just ran again. I received it just fine and everybody else should have as well. Sorry again.

I gave it a temporary fix this morning, and will give it the full fix this afternoon.

Whew! I thought for a minute there that no one had posted and The whole planet had disapeared! Cause I am almost certain that is what it would take to have a whole day of no activity on DG!

Got the news and feeling much better now! Thanks Dave!

Wow..ya'll scare me. No newsletter? Huh? I opened it up this morning and thought it was a beautiful pic of a wide-open area...a bucolic piece of surreal scenery, no mountains, no terra firma, no water but fully loaded with pure air and atmosphere! I gazed into it and stretched my eyes, looking further and further into the distance wondering how far it would go. I imagined breathing in the fresh oxygen of that open space, becoming ONE. I just knew Dave was sharing with us a Personal Moment. I was nearly at peace w/myself(s). (and NOW ya'll tell me different!!? I declare. Someone just popped my Zen bubble...).

Yep, there for a minute this morning I thought Dave quit talking to all of us......not a word was said.

Peace....be still.
