CLOSED: Pegomya bicolor?

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I found an image of Pegomya bicolor on the diptera.info site which looks like mine but the back of it is blurred. I have found a couple of other flies with orange backs, but the thorax on this one matches well where the others don't. The leg colour also matches.

I found it's larvae are leaf miners, this fly I have seen twice and it runs around constantly on leaves, the second time when I got some reasonable pics it was on a strawberry leaf. Good larvae food?

The family Anthomyiidae we don't have.

I compared the wing veins on the pic of the male with mine, it's female, they match spot on. That's usually a good ID indicator if they match.

Janet, that looks good, and good to get another family represented in BugFiles.
