CLOSED: Mystery leaflike larva/bug?

Houston, TX

Hello all-

Can anyone help me identify this little bug/larva? It looks like a small leaf, and has a rough texture. It moves around by extending a black proboscis from one of its ends (the black spot in the photograph) and dragging itself around. Fairly quickly, I might add. When fully extended, the proboscis' length is about half the length of the body of this thing. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a clear picture of it with it extended. The body itself is rigid. The color is a mottled gray, green and brown.

Here are two links to the best macro images I could manage:

Thanks,
Logan

I think it's a bagworm. The "body" is actually the leaf that the bagworm has molded to cover itself. She will lay eggs inside it. They can do a number on the trees they are on.... And I would look very closely for more. http://bugguide.net/index.php?q=search&keys=bagworm&search=Search

Could possibly be a casebearing moth, too.
And the more I look at it, the more I think it is a casebearing moth. http://bugguide.net/node/view/27383

Casebearing moth! That's it, no doubt. Thank you!
