User information pop up

Two things, I use Firefox and the image magnifier. It would be convenient if I could enlarge the pop up window. Then after I have enlarged the image it is difficult to find the close button. If there were other ways of closing the window that did not involve finding the button that would be a good thing.

You don't have to hit the close button. Just simply clicking on the fullsize image after it is loading will close it.

No, when I click on your username that popup window can only be closed by the close button. If I use ImageZoom to enlarge your photo it becomes difficult to find the close button. I know that I can close the new image by clicking on the image.

George - have you tried right click and "back"? The cursor must be in an area outside the picture. Harold

George,

Thanks for mentioning the extension ImageZoom, I wasn't aware of it. I'm using a laptop with a pad, so I use the right-click menu to zoom in/out. Will that work for you to reset the image?

I don't think clicking on the popup to close it works with the user info popup, only with the image popups for thumbnails. I tried clicking on the usernames, and the only way to close that box appears to be hitting the close button, at least on my computer (IE version 6 if that matters)

On the user popup it does work by clicking right on the mouse in white space which brings a dropdown that includes "back". If there is a picture in the user popup you cannot click on the picture but must click on a white area, unlike the thumbnails which you must click on the picture. However, doing it that way on the user popup takes you out of the thread.

Folks, unless I'm mistaken George is using an add-on to the Firefox browser that enlarges the images. If you're not using that extension, you aren't getting the same problem he is.

I'm using Seamonkey and have installed the same extension. It's a Mozilla thing. :-)
