My name is not green anymore

While scrolling through a thread I've posted to, I could always pick out my post immediately because my name would be in green and everyone else's name would be blue. I've noticed lately that feature is missing. My name is now in blue, even on old posts where it used to be green. What's happening?

Sharon, click on your name one time, I think it will change back to green again. It was green because you had clicked on, it works that way for any person's name you have clicked on.....at least I *think* that's it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, k?

Thank you, Mary, but it works only on the entry I click on. My name stays blue on every other entry. I never had to click on my name before; my name was green on every post. Is there a way to change them all back to green? Sometimes I like to go back to old posts.

Hmmmm, I dunno. Dave will pop in at some point and help. It may happen just through attrition eventually. Sorry, not much help.

With the new feature in place, your name will always be blue.

MaryMc, I clicked on your ID and got a shock!! A new feature pulls up the pic, and I wasn't expecting that!! LOL!!

It's not my pic, now that it's more accessible I should change it so I don't get busted for copyright issues. I must have posted that before I figured out how to remove the copyright blurb saying it was my pic. I'll go get rid of it now. For the inquiring minds out there, it was a funny picture of a black and white cat.....very close up on the face. Glad it gave a giggle, that was the point.

Guess what! My name is back to being green again, even on old posts. I don't know why it changed back, but I'm happy to be green again :-)

Dave disabled the new features temporarily to see if they were causing things to be slow for people, that's why it's back to green.

Thanks for the info, ecrane. To be honest, I prefer the original feature. I hope it stays.

Dave's going to give people a choice, I don't think he has it set up yet but when he does, you'll be able to go into your preferences and choose whether you want the old way or the new way. That way everyone's happy.
