Um.....problem maybe...

I tried to click on the new pet website discussion thread, and got a "this forum is locked" paid subscribers only!!! First thing I checked is if my subscription had run out..it hasn't....is this a little bug maybe?

Any chance your computer had momentarily forgotten you were logged in? I remember a while back some people were having problems like that. I've been in the pet website threads several times today (and just checked them now) and was able to get in with no problem, so I don't think there's anything wrong with the threads.

could be.....first thing I did was glance up to the corner to see if I was logged in.....I was, so it said.......computer gremlins I guess.

Have you tried again? I just checked a minute ago and the threads seemed fine so hopefully if you try again you can get in, otherwise I don't know what's going on!

I saw that thread pop up also, and couldn't get in. However, I think it was an admin thread, and the rest of us can't get in. :) I was wondering why it showed up on the list of threads.

Maybe that was it, I saw it on my home page, down where it list other new threads...I can get into the ones on the pet forum ok....you would think if it was an admin thread it wouldn't have said "subscribing members only" though.

Could be the "subscribing members only" message is just the default message to mean you don't have access to something. I don't think posts in admin only areas are supposed to show up in places like the recent threads list, that's probably what the real bug was. And since nobody but the admins would ever see the admin only threads, Dave probably never bothered to make a special access denied message for them.

It was there again...just now...it is a pets admins thread showing up on the recent posts area!!! hehehe...nice to know I am not going insane....
