GREAT photos Pix - colors!
Sally - I will agree with Phil Hartman. IMHO he was the best alltime SNL member. Vintage Wine looks great.
I walked the dog and finally took a photo of this catalpa tree on it's way out - I always thought this tree looks like one of those Grimm's fairy tail trees that grab people.

Beautiful shots Celeste. I'm impressed with your athletic talents Celeste. I too was a fast sprinter. Still can run pretty fast. Did the 40 yd dash in 4.42 seconds once.
Actually there was a major league pitcher who only had one arm. He was able to put the glove on after throwing the pitch. It was quite impressive.
I tried sticking the glove under my right arm as quickly as possible, but no.
Did the 50yd. in 6 seconds flat.
Yowza you guys! I don't think I was ever that fast. I bow out of this race :))
That's moving! Now I know how you dead head all those DL's.
ROTFL!!!!!
Dave47: Where we came from (Kamloops BC) there are REAL cowboys . . . you know - "riding the horses, gotta move the cattle to the high country for summer pasture" cowboys. some of the biggest ranches in North America are in the Chilcotin-Thompson- Nicolca region of British Columbia.
I think definitions of masculinity and femininity are socially constructed, currently our culture is placing a lot of emphasis on a physical/aggressive definition of masculinity. But men are certainly not less evolved than women! Think of all the great literature, plays, art, poetry, music, science, math, engineering etc. created by men. How could anyone think guys are less competent than women? But recently (say the last 15 years) there has been a lot of emphasis on girls and academic accomplishment, with the unintended consequence that in the eyes of boys - academic achievement is increasingly seen as a "girly" thing to do. Which is far worse than simply being a nerdy thing to do. By the time I get some of these fellow in my class - they are so far behind in academic skills, it's scary. But it has nothing to do with their natural ability - but an attitude regarding books and learning - and about what defines a man.
I am very in touch with my feminine side.
And we are all happy to hear that, Victor.
I've even named her.
What . . . Victoria?
Roxanne.
I actually saw that one coming!
Am I getting predictable??! Have to throw some curves in that case.
okay . . . I'm slow . . . why Roxanne?
Oh - you guys are too much! I am laughing so hard I have tears!
What I MEANT to say was that those sunset photos made me feel very relaxed and peaceful. Great shots, Celeste.
Thank you Candyce, they did the same for me.
Michaela, Remember when gram was introducing a firend and he never showed up? Here's the thread: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/725282/
Look at post # Post #3565294 and that where "Roxanne" came in.
Would you believe I actually looked up the posting? Wow . . . that was a long time ago. What ever happened to gram's imaginary friend?
ROFLMAO!!! You guys gotta stop. :)
Actually I tend to name a lot of things Roxanne for some reason. It's my computer's name as well. Wholesome name. Just like Candy.
Gee . . . I never figured you for the wholesome type . . . :-)
Why, thank you Victor, for calling me 'wholesome'!
This thread got away from me, lol.
