A Sticky for a Forum please?

Hi Dave!

Many of us on the Hummingbird and Butterfly Gardening Forum would like to request a sticky added to give newbies ideas for hand-raising and releasing our beautiful winged friends ..... the Butterflies and Moths!

We have quite a few OLD threads with lots of useful information as well as some recent threads. The forum is very busy and these helpful threads get lost easily in all the action!

When new folks find the forum, they often want to know how to raise butterflies and so they often start a new thread. I think it would be so helpful for them to have such info readily available in a sticky. It would be a good place for many of their questions to be answered without trying to locate old threads (which can be frustrating) or waiting for replies from folks who might know. It would also cut down on the number of NEW threads inquirying about such information, too!

Well, I would like some of the folks from that forum to list the threads (here) that they think would be helpful for newbies or even for us "oldies" to reference from time to time.

I am wondering if a number of threads can be "referenced" within the body of a single NEW sticky thread rather than make a sticky out of a number of threads. We have threads with raising info, we have threads for what kind of cages to use, we have threads for what problems to be aware of, etc. This is all useful info for raising butterflies that most newbies need to know to successfully raise them.

Would it be better to just create a sticky and let us add the threads we find most useful for raising butterflies or would you prefer we post links to those threads here?

I think it will be best for you to create a new thread in the B&H forum and allow all the members to post links to the best threads in the forum. Then we'll make that one thread a sticky. How does that sound?
