Red wording at bottom of Bug Files

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I noticed this when adding a new bug (at the bottom of every page), and of course I realise it's meant to be seen which seems like a good idea to bring in new people. Red is a no-no, teachers marking, stop signal, we don't like it!

I see the green leading to the Homepage is a good idea, as green means go, it's comforting and good.

BUT, every time I see it it turns my stomach! I don't know if it's just me, but on sales training courses they tell you red is a no-no and I have always disliked it in writing. Could there be another attractive colour used which is not so offensive?

Aaargh! It's at the bottom of the Dave's Garden Forum too!

I don't see any red ????????

It's gone!

Did you take it off Dave?

I think I saw it once in PlantFiles too. Is it the one that said something like "Feeling overwhelmed? Lots of info here? I can't remember the exact wording, and I've not seen it again.

That's strange....it seems like I just saw it a few minutes ago.

Yes it was about feeling overwhelmed, and confused with so much, or something like that. The green wording invited a visit to the Homepage.

It had turned up on every page, I thought for a start it was meant for non-subscribers to see which wasn't such a bad idea but darned annoying in red!

Must be an idea Dave was working on. Maybe he's tweaking it a bit?

I got the big red overwhelmed notice to go the home page a couple of times today. And as I have gotten Lyme again, not a big deal, just annoying, I have very low energy and lots of mental confusion, so I thought it was Big Brother Dave being telepathic. Patti

Wow, exactly one hour after I posted, here pops up Dave. I think there is more to this.
