Warning about previous post before hitting the send button ?

I'm rather slow in posting because my native language is not English . I have to look up words in my dictionary and check the spelling etc... So it often happens that when I finally hit the send button, there comes the message : 'While your were typing there was a previous posting ....' in fat red letters. Sometimes I find this embarrassing because there can be a big time lapse in between and then it looks as if I have been ignoring the message that was previously posted. Is there a way to find that out before one hit the 'send' button, to be able to read that previous post and in a way that I don't loose the text and the already uploaded pictures ?

Just open up another Browser Window (or another tab if you use IE7, Firefox or Opera) and in the new Window/Tab go to the thread you're trying to reply to. Refresh that Window / Tab before posting your reply and you'll see if anyone posted there in the meanwhile.

If you preview your post, you'll see a warning, followed by a link to the thread - you can right-click on it to open it in a new window and read it before posting your reply.
