favorite page list?

I don't get the purpose. What's the difference between that and watching something?

I LOVE the favorite page list. I keep all 213 forums on my homepage because seems like when I weed them down to the ones I go into regularly, I am always needing something in another forum and having to go back into the list to find and put a check next to it. Now, with the favorite page list, I keep my favorite forums in there and when I come to daves, I click the favorites folder and there are my favorite forums for me to pop into without having to look down the whole page of 213 forums in search of them. An absolute WONDERFUL addition for me.

For me, it's just saving a favorite thread or just one remark within a thread. Threads drop off or get too long and cluttered so when I just want that one idea or tip without a lot of searching i pop it in my favorites. Editing the titles makes it easier to find too.

And you can use it to save things other than forum threads. You can use it to keep up with PlantFiles, Garden Watchdog, diaries, etc.

And you can add a single post to your favorites, so if it's a recipe buried in a long thread, that can be very helpful ;o)

Oh wow, I didn't realize you could do that. That makes it even that much better, but...stupid question..how do you put just a single post in? I can't figure it out :(

Click on the post # (in the left-hand column beneath the poster's name and information). When that's the only thing on your screen, click on the yellow folder in the upper right-hand corner ;o)

Where do you find out about 'Favorites' and where are they listed?

You have to go to "my info", then you'll see the link to view your favorites. To add something to your favorites, you'll see a little folder icon on every single page you look at, when you're on a page you want to save to your favorites, just click the folder icon.

Oh, I see the little folder (in the upper right hand corner of my pages. So just click on it and the page or even just a post will be added.

That is neat. When was this feature added?
