Landscaping.com design work started

Check out the current design we're working on:

http://lamb.davesgarden.com/~dave/landscaping-home.jpg

It's not finalized but it's a starting point.

dave

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

Looks great Dave.

North Augusta, ON

Very nice Dave...easy to look at, and lots of links to more info.

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

Hmm...for some reason when I open the page my cursor turns to a zoom icon (+/- inside a magnifying glass) and I can't follow any links. Is this just me? Looks great - attractive layout, neat but with lots of info.

I'm using

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070222 SeaMonkey/1.1.1

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

kaperc, what you are seeing is like a screenshot.

Dave, It looks great. I like the layout and that although it is a related site to DG it has it's own unique feeling.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6a)

I like the part that says "submit your landscape" - very inviting feel to it !

Dea

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

Duh. Thanks, Zanymuse. :-)

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Real nice features.

MsC

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

I love it Dave. Has lots of pizazz to it and is very intuitive and concise.

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

I like the look, really like the pond photo! LOL ;-)

Lilesville, NC(Zone 7b)

i really like it as well...very nicely done.

Char

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

It was a really SLOW loader for me. I'm on backwoods dial-up. It took longer than loading some of the daylily threads in the DL Forum with all the pics :~) I guess my computer doesn't like the font because it was hard to read for me. I am running windows XL on a 1 yr old Dell so don't usually have problems with fonts anymore.

Sorry to sound so negative. The pics are great! As others said the layout is nice, it's simple and straight forward which is likely what you're aiming for in a beginning gardeners website.

Lana

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

Lana--it's not a real web page, it's a jpg image of the web page, that's probably why it loaded really slow for you and why the fonts looked small. Once it's a link to the real website I'm sure it'll be better for you.

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

Gotcha! Thanks :~)
