OMG...awesome, can you imagine the beauty those astronauts see...now would that be a satelite photo...what do you think the larger lights are..would that be the cities?

I agree with you June, but just how many big cities do you have up that way? Not meant to be derogatory. Indeed, I wish that the USA was as sparsely populated as Canada. You are living in a jewel. Be happy that the photo did not show the lights of your country.

blmlb, the title of the picture is "The USA at night", not "North America at night," so I really have no grounds for complaint. I was just feeling patriotic, as Canada Day is coming up (July 1). No hard feelings!

Strange photo. No lights in Canada Mexico proper or Baja California.Someone did some touching up with a computer,Outlined the US and deleted everything else.
