The USA at night....AWSOME PIC
OMG...awesome, can you imagine the beauty those astronauts see...now would that be a satelite photo...what do you think the larger lights are..would that be the cities?
Thank you so kindly for sharring..sure did enjoy it!
Pretty impressive! But ... where's Canada? How come the lights stop at the border? Hey, we have electricity here, and we want to be seen from space too!
Awsome photo!
I agree with you June, but just how many big cities do you have up that way? Not meant to be derogatory. Indeed, I wish that the USA was as sparsely populated as Canada. You are living in a jewel. Be happy that the photo did not show the lights of your country.
blmlb, the title of the picture is "The USA at night", not "North America at night," so I really have no grounds for complaint. I was just feeling patriotic, as Canada Day is coming up (July 1). No hard feelings!
June, I didn't know July 1st is Canada Day. Time to get out the bbq grill.
And let us not forget the most important ingredient of the Canada Day celebrations: Canadian BEER. I'll drink a toast to keeping all the lights shining, both American and Canadian.
Strange photo. No lights in Canada Mexico proper or Baja California.Someone did some touching up with a computer,Outlined the US and deleted everything else.
June
Every trip that I have made to your great country I have always tried to drink my share of your fine beer, missed several flights back home!
Is this the same photo? If not, it's a similar composite.

That is a nice pic as well...he got this pic from Forbes.com so it could be and someone just snagged it from there.

Maybe, Canadians are just better at shutting off the lights when they leave a room.........
