The Apple Jacks weren't dead!
Whats blooming today??
I heard Apple Jack WAS the killer!
Don't make me Honey Smack you now.
My bodyguard is Capt. Crunch so I'm safe.
Not if I send Count Chocula!
Frankenberry's already on my side. He can be easily bribed.
Andy - it's deceiving from that angle - that's why I shot it that way! There still holes that need filling. I do like a somewhat crowded, but behaved bed. Fewer weeds that way. I don't remember the Coreopsis - had Sun or Sunshine in the name. They're about 8 or 9 years old and volunteer a bit.
Andy, You have the best weeds!
More beauties, Celeste. Love that Gypsy.
Celeste, Wonderful!
Nice shot.
Nice shots Pixie. I've been trying to get BF shots - not many here right now.
Thanks all,
I walked the field and didn't see any, got to the side of the house where the Mock Orange is and they were flutter-fighting over the blossoms! Got a M.O.??
Pixie,
Your flowers/pictures are soooo pretty. I especially like the poppy ready to pop. It looks like it has earmuffs on. How is your DH?
BigAl,
Great Medusa shot.
This is fun! so many pretties.
Pix, I love the shot of Caesar's Brothers and Sugar and Butter. could be in a catalog :) nice to see the b'flies. haven't been many around here. my hummers are back, though. one of them is funny. when the feeder is empty, she buzzes the patio door.
Andy, so glad you've been lured out...love your mountain laurel. I have a dwarf 'Little Linda', but it takes a beating from the winter wind. Is it time to mow down those daisies yet?
Hi Loretta!! DH gets his staples out today and a real cast put on so he's excited. He has been in bed for 14 days and is stir crazy so just the ride to the doctors is making him happy!! LOL
Thanks for asking about him, im sure it will cheer him up also.
'morning, Pix. say Hi to Brian. glad he's making progress!
WOW Gram!!! Your garden is blooming beautifully!!!!!! Love that "Little Linda" and I went and peeked at the rose forum so I could see the rose's you have blooming. Just gorgeous!! So happy you are reaping in the rewards of all your hard work.
Brian will be a hurting unit later on today, but he's excited to get out of the house right now. It's 2.5 hour trip to the doctors so he may not be as excited on the way home!! LOL
Give Brian my best too, Celeste. Each milestone is a big deal. Great shots Jan. That does look like Goldmound or Goldflame - I have Goldflame. Love the foliage on the Nasturtium. Do you use them in salads?
Jan,
The title is "Whats Blooming Today?" if your rose's are blooming......please post them. Don't be stingy....share for those of us who don't have many.(like me!) I love looking at your variety and it gives me an idea of what might do well here. So please share, pretty please??
WOW, Gram. You're on fire here. lol Great pics. The Mountain laurel is a sweet color.
The Daisies have another week, I think. They are all over you know. I planted some Wave Petunias near one big clump. I'll yank that one up when it's done and nobody will be the wiser. Marigolds will replace the others.
I've had the same Marigolds for decades, I just save the seeds in the Fall and toss them around in the Spring. Then I move the seedlings around.
Shall we start PART 2 since this thread is getting rather lengthy? I don't know how exactly to do it. Tamara
