Everything is starting to explode here so I thought i'd start a thread to post pictures from my garden. Feel free to post any blooms that you have blooming today!
I'll start with one of my iris's that opened this morning. No name as most of them are.......
Whats blooming today??
Beautiful Celeste! You may warrant an entire Forum!!
Al, the peeling paint pattern on the trim echoes the stones in the mulch. Man, you're good!
Lovely pictures everyone, love Starship Enterprize!
Al, I have a birthday coming up so I might have to ask DH for that Black Lace sambucus . I've been eyeing it for over a year now, do you think it will survive here or is it finicky? If so, it's gonna die! I don't have time for fussy plants right now. I'm mother, wife, nursemaid on duty 24 -7 right now, and lawn care and garden matinence person. My idea of lawn care and maintaining the mower since it broke down........go to Home Depot and buy a new one. Yup, DH doesn't know it yet but he's getting a new mower for Father's Day. It's a Club Cadet Garden Tractor 27 hp w/a 54" mower deck. I hope he likes it, and that my idea of "fixing" the problem!
My Black Lace (planted last Spring) had their first blooms this year too. Didn't get the chance to photograph them. I only noticed one bloom on mine. How old is yours Al?
I bought mine a year ago too Victor. I grew to about 4' and only died back about 6". They say it's a dieback shrub so you should be fine Celeste. I'll take a full pic tomorrrow.
Nice pics Tamb.
Deb, Honorine is gorgeous!
Pixie, amazing!
Al, I want some sambucca!
