Suggestion for "My info" pages

I and I'm sure other people, have amassed a lot of pictures and add a plant contributions/submits to the site and I think it would be very convenient to have a search feature for your contribution lists instead of having to run through page after page to find what you're looking for.

Oh! I just thought of another. I remember now, I had two. It would also be super to be able to arrange your submit list in alphabetical order, oldest to newest, newest to oldest (which is current... I think?), etc.

I can certainly do this, but I'm not 100% sure on what you're asking for. There's a dozen or more "browse" links off the My Info page; which one are you wanting to have extra options for? What's the "Submit list"?

Sorry if this is confusing.

Under where it says, "CaptMicha's contributions-> Plantfiles-> 115 Plants or 151 Comments or 375 images or 181 zipcode reports or 185 Details"

I'd like to be able to search my list by typing into a search bar, just for that list (if not the other lists then the 375 images list definably), not for the whole plantsdatabase site. And also, instead of just being arranged by the order in which I added them to the site "Page 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | ... 19 Next »", I would also like to be able to have my list displayed in alphabetical order, newest to oldest, oldest to newest.

I hope I cleared this up?

I have enhanced the "Browse by zipcodes" page, as well as the "Images by ..." page.

The zipcodes page can now be re-sorted by clicking on the table columns at the top.

The "images by" page can now be searched. Enter in the search term into the "Limit to" field and click on "Go" and you'll only see the matching plants.

Ouch, My images contributed list just came up in alphabetical order. I much prefer the latest to first listing as I refer to it primarily to assure that I don't duplicate a photo. Cna there be a preference or some for individuals to change it back. That's preferable to sitting here cussing Capt Micha for messing it up.

Farmerdill, I too use the latest to first listing order to be sure I do not have duplicate entries and to be able to determine which photo I need to upload next. It would be nice to be able to choose the sorting order.

My entries are now all in alphabetical order by common name and I've never heard of some of those common names before. A plant can have many common names but will only have one Latin name. I too would like to be able to choose the sorting order if possible with alphabetical order by Latin name as well as latest to first listing being an option for when I'm adding photos to avoid duplications as mentioned by Farmerdill and htop.

I changed back the "images by user" to sort by date again. I'll add different sortings to it later.

Ohhhh! Mine is now in alphabetical order by Latin name instead of common name AND I have the search feature! Very happy!
