Post is bigger than my screen

Why do the posts seem so large that they go off my screen? It seems to be the ones that have lots of replies that I'm having trouble with. Is there a way for me to change the size of(gee, I don't really know how to ask this question) the posts on my screen? The reply part?
Most of them fit, but the one about the jokes and the one above with tips for trading take up more than my screen can show. I have to read the left side, then scroll to the right, back to the left and on and on.... How do I fix this?

I guess it sort of compensates for the space used when the number of replies gets huge. LOL I have to do the left and right scroll dance too. I gotta say it sure isn't fun with morning sickness! I wanna puke by the time I get finished. LOL Gee, not a good endorsement huh? The jokes nearly make me wet my pants and reading posts want to make me puke. Can we put that on a tshirt???

At least on the joke thread, it's all Horseshoe's fault. He has a joke in there with a very very long line, no spaces. (the one with all the ..... in it.)

zippy hit the nail on the head - that's what causes that.

HAH! I fixed it! Edited that post and now all is well once again! (and even I was fussing to myself about all the back and forth scrolling). I had no idea. (On the preview it shows the dot-dot-dots only one line width then to the next line and next line.) Maybe, for dummies like me, there could be a "common rules for courteous posting" suggesting things to do, and in this case, NOT to do. It could also give suggestions for photo sizes, and perhaps other areas (if there are any) that me and others are not aware of. (No dave, not another Forum!) Or perhaps just a follow up of suggestions on this thread.

hope I don't mess up again, especially MzM since I finally got a digital camera yesterday...I can just see me making pics so big only a persons nose can be seen on your monitor! (Might have to call on you for help.) just sign me, HorseDoo (*sniff* neck ache from hanging head, dejected, called on the carpet,*pout*, ~~teary-eyed~~)

Hey Horseshoe, don't sweat it. I think it is too much time in the sun. LOL I didn't follow the whole joke thread anyway. I have had problems with other posts that get tons of replies. I wasn't sure if it was me being blonde, lack of computer knowledge or my guess that loads of posts spread out to save space or something! Glad to know it isn't me or my computer. :) Oh, and don't take me too seriously no matter what I post. The kids suck out my brain cells every chance they get. Too many years of peroxide got the earlier ones. Maybe there is no hope for ME??!!!

calalily - what you could do is go to view at the top of your browser and go to 'text size', make it smaller if you can, it'll fit better :)

OY VEY! But I fixed that problem, ya'll! I did, I DID!!! (at least on my puter it is all nice and neat once again!) OH mercy meeee..and now a Horseshoe Holiday!!...I can just see dogs coming up to me lifting their legs in a special greeting! Effigies of me dangling like decorations from the downtown power poles in small cities across the nation! Parades!... with someone at the tail end of them dressed up like me (and probably wearing shoes!) Bottle rockets being shot AT me instead of up in the air! And all the lil childerns lined along the roadside laffing at Po PO Horseshoe, whose neck is now 3 feet long due to hanging it in shame for SO LONG cuz of the terrible trubbles he's seen...and caused. *wahhhhhh!!* Po Po Horseshoe. A day like no other..the banks close, Government Bldgs close...even Wal-Mart closes...and folks run their flags at half-mast! Po Horseshoe...*sniff, sniff* what to do, what to do?

Well 'Shoe', ifn there's gonna be fireworks and balloons and a parade I'll just have to break out the piggy bank and invest in a concession stand to sell kleenex for the tearful laughers and popcorn for the "otherns" The proceeds to be used for neck reduction surgery and the implanting of a steel bar to help you hold your head erect once again! But hope you won't be offended if I giggle at the sight of you and that long neck awhile!

Zany...people 'round here are talkin' behind my back...cain't quite hear 'em too good but have a good look at their shoe....said somethin' about "that giraffe neck", etc, etc. *sniff* (PS. I seem to be spotting quite a few coins on the sidewalks these daze and will send them to your piggybank.)

Well Shoe I gotta tell ya if Wally World( Wal-mart) closes around here it really is a holiday...... hummmmm I like the sound of that Horseshoe Day..... reckon I could get off from work for that.?
