markroy, that last photo was horrific, but very educational as well!

Hi Blue Eyes from TX - the pink flowered hoya a few posts back, is it verticillata? A foliage pic might help, but thats what the flowers look like to me - I think there are several types of verticillata, coming with pink, white, and reddish flowers.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

The leaves don't look like the one I have labeled as such, but I will double check. It was sent to me as cv. Joy, but I don't think it is.

KIM, there is another thread about H. cv. Joy...you DO have it. That flower is definitely cv. Joy.

Has anyone else had problems posting pictures the last couple of days? I've tried uploading a photo of wayettii about four times, but it just gets lost in cyberspace.

Mark...awesome photo!!! Your new camera is fabulous. Of course, with my eyes I could never see MY flowers closely enough to compare them to yours... Really...I am green with jealousy!!!!

Beautiful picture, just great, thanks for sharing!

Oh, thanks guys! I'm still getting the hang of it, it's the first camera I've had with aperture and shutter speed settings, so getting the exposure just right is a bit tricky.

I don't mean to rain on any parades when I question an ID...and I am thrilled when people question mine...but I don't think that is H. anulata. In this link you will see the top photo are Christina's flowers and the bottom photo are mine...and the color difference means nothing. Mine always bloom a darkish pink.... It is also easy to recognize the leaves as H. anulata as the bases are are terete...(kinda squared off).

Nice bloom, tho'....is it fragrant? Can you post a photo of the leaves?

Harrisburg, PA(Zone 6a)

Received the plant from AlohaHoya and that was the label on the plant.8>). Here is a picture of the the leaves.

Carol,

Big Correction here~!!! Sorry, sorry , the stem was wrapped around the cane and after tracing it back, guess what....it belongs to the aff. cardiophylla IML 168. LOL Both are planted in the same pot! Once you confirmed it, I will edit all the pictures
