Very pretty Eleanor.
What is growing nicely for you right now?
Eleanor, what cultivar is the peony? It's gorgeous.
Very nice Dave. Is that PI growing up that tree in the background?? It's huge! If it is, I hope IT doesn't jump off the screen. That stuff kills me.
That picture doesn't do it justice.
No it's not PI (although I did have 2 trees in front with almost that much PI. The vine was over 2' thick! It is dead now but I haven't tried to get the vines down.
What is that vine then? VA Creeper?
Time for Page 2, don't you think? Someone? Dawn?
I'm not good with bugs. I have not seen any posts from Dawn in a while so you may as well do the honors Andy.
Thanks everyone. Sofonisba - it is a garden peony and it's name is "Duchesse De Nemours". Dave, what do you mean by your iris are disappearing? Are they almost through blooming or is Victor digging them up at night because he doesn't have as many as pixie??? Eleanor
Not me, Victor. Who posts the most here?
Dawn can't post anymore so someone go ahead and continue the thread, please.

I did it!! Here's a link to the next page. Eleanor
OK a million pics today - I like this iris and peonies. Ginko's are cool - one of the easiest trees to ID by form too.
There is some irony with Dawn and this thread. I do think it's a good thing to close the regional forums - I wish she would subscribe.
I wish she would, too. Her enthusiasm and excitement add so much to the NE forum.
great shots everyone! Iris peony and ginko are all wonderful
I posted another album on my photo site
(don't remember what the flower is on this post.. didn't mark it)

Oooo, onewish, the slug one - I hated it. The one following the slug one - I loved it!
I agree with Harper's opinion on the slug but the others are beautiful. It's so nice to see garden photos sans the weeds. My compliments to you.
yeah well they were.... um... taken care of after the photo
:)
Gasp! Photographic manipulations??
Another gifted photographer. Very nice!
I really want a newer camera.... mine is a bit out dated... hoping the birthday fairy brings me one
any of you know what the pink flower is?.... it's been there for 3 years and the first time it bloomed fully... can't remember what it is
Only five days to go for that birthday wish to come true! No sins in deleting any possible weeds before posting.
Could the pink flower be Convolvuous - not sure of the spelling.
It's not a painted daisy?
Looks like some type of Daisy.
it has a different leaf compared to my other painted daisy... don't know
love the plant id forum... always such quick answers

Good job onewish.
Hey, do you folks know a new thread has replaced this one? Quicker to navigate.
I saw that just now.... thanks dave
