Storm's over and time for Coffee!!!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Uh Schicken... who spanked you?

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

"this too shall pass"... Uh, yeah. Like the rise and fall of the Roman Empire...

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Seandor, what a difference it makes when the lawn is mowed, eh? Mine's up to my calves now and I'm about ready to rip it out with my hands. I'm hoping DH is gonna mow tomorrow.... I think I'll be outside in the garden all day tomorrow. Sunday will be my heaven.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I think there's a bit too much straying into the 'forbidden zone'.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

What? history? cultural diversity? or mowing lawns?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The big P.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

oh , , , , sorry , , , ,

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

This thread has stopped making sense..... if it ever did! LOL. Did we lose a post?

xxx, Carrie

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Hmmm... the big 'P'. That's what I do first thing in the morning.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Lucky you - I usually can't make it through the night!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

The forbidden big P, Poison Ivy!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I thought that was PI. Did you lose your 'I'. Shall we dub you 'Cyclops' now??

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

There is no "I" in team and I'm a team player.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Then take one for the team, Dave!!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I did! I have poison ivy on my arm. (I jumped on it and smothered it before anyone else on this thread got hurt.)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I nominate you for the DG gardening purple heart, or maybe the DG green heart, or maybe the GD green heart. I salute you sir!

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

and when he said PI - the first thing I thought of was Tom Selleck...go figure

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I wonder why Anita?!!

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I know why.... it's a chick thing that we couldn't possibly explain to you. Good morning, everybody!

I made it through another night.

xxxx, Carrie

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

hmmmm...and then the word 'Hot' came to mind....

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Then Ferrari

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

and then I remembered I need to wash my car...go figure

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

A little word association going on?? So you have a Ferrari?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I understand, Anita, completely.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I think someone(s) on this thread need a little iced coffee right now. Ooooo - I think I will go out and get some! Thanks for the good idea.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

No problem, don't mention it. [Anita, did you watch A-team? Kind of goofy, but a lot of testosterone on that show!]

xxx, Carrie

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I PITY THE FOOL!!!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

How come the A Team couldn't get work in B movies?

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I don't C why they didn't...

Actually - I loved Dirk Benedict in Battlestar Galactica....drool...

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I loved Battlestar Galactica, too!

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Wasn't Starbuck dreamy???

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Was that the inspiration for the coffee???????

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I always liked Beedy on Buck Rogers...........beedy, beedy beedy.....that's right Buck.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

I love all the old Sci-fi shows. actually the new ones, too. we watch that channel a lot.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Al, Was Beedy dreamy?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Never watched Buck. Tough to beat Jeannie (Barbara Eden). She caused stirrings. Catwoman was cute too.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

My mistake Dave - his name was Tweaky who said bidi all the time, he was a robotic dog. Erin Gray was quite acceptable as a female human on that show. I think I watched all those cheesy sci-fi shows - even Space:1999 which blew.

Victor - I bet you like all woman that call men master though.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee. No, she could call me whatever she wanted. I'd be willing to serve her.

By the way, there is a thread currently on Container Gardening titled 'Floppy Cucumber'. How does one resist the temptation??!!

There was a novelty book published called "Why cucumbers are better than men." Honest.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's pushing the limit! No comment - though I did hear about that book.
