Ch 3, Ron the drug dealer

Orange Park, FL

As time went on, Ron seemed to be more interested in his drug business than in his job as a master mechanic. And he failed to show up for work. Finally, the local Cadillac dealer canned him. The problem was that Ron moved from being a dealer to being a user.
When Ron was a dealer he had huge amounts of money. On one occassion, when my kid was visiting Ron's house, (Ron had a teenager about my kid's age) they were both sitting around watching TV when Ron came home. Ron told Eddie (his teenage watchdog) to climb up into the attic and bring down a paper bag of money. My kid told me that the paper bag held about $25k in cash.
As you can imagine, Ron's future seemed to go downhill. But he did not give up without a fight.
