Thought I ought to share, in case anybody's in the market. Recently purchased a verizon LG vx 8300. I LOVE IT!

The MP3 player in it didn't cooperate real good with my newer laptop pc, but the vw staff got it all working last weekend. Finally today I'm downloading mp3s and wav's off my pc onto the phone. It's incredible! Fairly small disk, 512mb, and I've barely scratched the surface with three cd's worth of music. Two ways to download it - connect through the phone directly, or use a card reader for the micro-SD cards (adaptor from the micro card for phone to pc).

As if the music isn't good enough, it's got a navigation program. A couple times on here, I've asked about gps car systems. Well, I've found one. My phone is incredible! Twice already I've entered a "destination address", and said "get me there". Its been incredible! Once, from the sticks where I live, to downtown Houston. A second time, from my house, straight to a horse training barn, also in another part of "middle of nowhere". No missed turns, nothing like it. It gives more than enough warning to change lanes, slow down, and start looking for traffic patterns, which is especially important for me when I'm hauling a horse behind my truck. Can't stop quick, and the navigator always gives me enough notice to start slowing down to prepare for turns.

So if you're in the market, and into technology-wild phones, complete with all the bells & whistles, start looking here!!

I'm lucky just to know how to post here..lol...my son's have all these bells and whistle type phones...amazing how far technology has come...you enjoy..maybe they'll make them user friendlier, than I may buy one...thanks for sharing..

Betty, don't let that stop you. Most of us "really" don't know how to use all the bells and whistles on our cell phones.... :) LOL

went yesterday and had a telephone registered that my son gave me (he just purchased new release)...I'm trying to add addressed to it...I'll play with it...who knows, maybe one day, I'll get one like yours...
