It must be love!

LOL, they're cute!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

How about a heart-shape variegated hoya? I found this hoya at a local chain store as "Valentine" plant. Had it for years. It never grew in size. Just maintains its shape. I've another that isn't variegated. ^_^

Here is the non variegated heart, hoya. Aren't they cool plants?

They are! Wish I had room for more houseplants. We can't grow those outdoors here.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

I keep those as houseplant as well. If I ever get adventurous, I'll move them outdoor for the growing season and see what they do.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

While parked outside a store recently, some unseen bird left me a little heart-shaped love note on my car. Sorry if it offends anyone. It was just too funny to pass up a photo session.

And less offensive, here is a dahlia which seems to form little valentines when viewed from the side angle.

Aw, nap, not offensive at all. It's cute! It must be love!
(Mind you, I wasn't clicking for an enlarged view, ha ha!)

Very neat on the dahlia. Interesting picture, thanks for sharing! :-)

LOL, the first one's funny, and the second is amazing--good eye!!

(Zone 7a)

I was going through some old winter pics and deleting some of the bad ones when I ran across one that caught my eye. I thought of this thread and had to share. I enhanced it a bit so you can see it better.

I call it "The Heart of the Wasatch Mtns."

How cool! Is that where the Timpanogos cave is? My son and I toured that cave once. The area is gorgeous.

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Oh, Kwan, I like that, thanks for sharing! Very cool!

How special is that! I like what you call it too Kwanjin.. so much so I want to say it too:
"The Heart of the Wasatch Mtns." Hee! That felt good :-)

(Zone 7a)

Thanks everyone. ☺

Timpanogos Cave is about 35 miles south of us. I've been there many times. Quite impressive.

Hi, kwanjin, have been looking for you and zhinu. Was at the American Orchid Society web site for a while. I'll need to read you posts and the replies to it. Still unable to locate zhinu. Leeflea51

Hello all!

I've found more heart shaped treasures!

This time, in a bag of chips. And who said chips were only fattening junk food?
No joke, alteration of the photo or any funny business. It truly came out of the
bag this way:

When my parents bought a house here in Oklahoma a couple of
years ago, I noticed this but never got around to taking a picture of
it until recently.

We did not make this burn, it was in the porch this way:

Those are both very cool! LOL

I found this rock in my yard a few weeks ago.

I just found this thread. good to know that I"m not the only one who looks for hearts! I don't have many pics of them though. However, I do have one pic that is dear to my heart but it's not digital yet.
While vactioning with my sons in Ohio, we visited the Dam picnic area in my hometown and in a solid wall of rock , one hole stood out,,not man-made either, a huge heart in the side of the rock. I will try to find that pic this week and scan and post it. I thought it was so cool.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow--a heart of stone! lol That would be a great pic!

Marilyn Glen st. Mar, FL(Zone 9a)

I looked through my albums today,,,can't find that pic any place in them. Know I kept it though because it was such a perfect heart, and so large. I will come across it and when I do , I will be sure to post the pic. If I don't find the pic, I will just have to go back and take another one, I know the heart is still there.

Kept wondering Wuvie when this thread would resurface..so enjoy everything you find with 'hearts'....

Hulbert, OK(Zone 7a)

Hi Betty!

Very good to see you, I was just looking for your name the other day. I
remembered you were on this thread, so when I couldn't find this thread
quickly, I went to Google your name and my name. LOL.

Hope you are well!

Too cute...how have you been, creating as always I would imagine...
Gardening has been taking up much of my life but so rewarding...look forward to seeing more of your finds..

Alamogordo, NM(Zone 7b)

I posted this on another forum and was asked to join you all here. This is a large cactus in my cactus bed our front. A rabbit or field mouse seemed to have snacked just a bit and formed a heart.

This is a group on flickr where members add heart photos. Several of my cactus hearts can be found there and other plants in addition to non plant hearts.

Don't you love it when you find things like that?

Alamogordo, NM(Zone 7b)

Thanks, yes the desert and the West is very beautiful. It took me moving away to realize that one. LOL! I do love to find those kind of things Wuvie, I have tons of photos over the years of cactus that form heart shapes.
