I'll go out and snap a pic. in a little while. They do not look like flower buds, round in shape like that of sweetpeas.
Help! My Lily is dying!
I find that happens a lot with a plant in one hand and camera in the other.
First guess is that the nursery had your pine near tiger lilies of some sort and the bulbils dropped in the soil. Lucky you! You might ask the nursery what kinds of lilies they typically carry.
It's certainly OK to have tigers around (the orange ones), but if you have lots of lilies you'll want to give tigers a special place all their own.
Moby;
Ah, does that mean I've more baby-Tigers?. (or mistakenly called spider, or perferably dragonfly?) Tehehehe. Perhaps, that explains the reason I saw those Orange Tiger lilies planted in big whiskey Barrels at the nursery. 1st my impression was; they've those for display. Now I see the reason behind it.
Thank you, once again Moby. Is there a website somewhere I can find and learn more about Tiger lilies? I've recently purchased a pink and yellow ones. I planted the pink one among other hybrids, but keeping an eye on it. My yellow tiger is brilliant, but is still sitting in a pot of it own. I sprayed my perennial garden for Aphids regularly, but there are mites, and other garden pests. I'm concerned, love those lilies and don't want to ruin the whole bed.
