Merrimac, WI(Zone 4b)

That's Mountain Time, Eastern time would be 7:42.
Bottom of all pages says "All times a recorded in Eastern time."
Not here they come in as Central time.

This is what it says at the bottom of my page

Quoting:
All times are recorded in CST
.

We sure are having computer problems tonight, Bernie! ☺

At the bottom of mine it says all times recorded in Mountain time. But all the time stamps on the home page, posts, etc are correct for my Pacific time zone.

Mine says all times recorded in Central Time, but I'm in Mountain Time. However, the clock shows the right time, and when I post, it shows the time in Mountain Time.

You can go to your preferences and change your time zone and the post will show in your time zone. Also you can check the members home page and it will show what time is for them if they are in a time zone and you want to figure out the difference.

I never worried about what it said at the bottom, time is always in CDT for me, & hey, I happy with that!
I think way back when, they were EST.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

This is what it says at the bottom of my screen.

All times are recorded in -4

I checked my preferences and everything is correct. Let's see what time shows up for this post.

Edited to say...

Still wrong...the post says 8:51 p.m., but it is 9:51 p.m. here. Oh, well!

jasmerr, I think you have your time set on standard time instead of daylight, did you check that? Having that wrong would make the time look exactly like what you're seeing. I'm not sure what's going on with what people are seeing across the bottom of the screen, but everyone else's time on the posts is showing up correctly so I really think it's your settings, and if you have yourself set as central standard time instead of central daylight time that would make it an hour off.

ecrane...you win the prize!!! That was it; I never thought to look for daylight time settings.

Thanks!

Glad to help! I've done that one myself, that's why I knew what was wrong!
