Banner/Tabs change?

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Just noticed that the banner seems to fit my screen better (can see it without scrolling now) and see the tabs look arranged differently.

However, I also seem to have lost the "Extras" tab....and can't remember what else used to be there as well.

I can only see the extra tab on my "main" screen. With the list of forums that I watch.

That's how it always was for me too, Grammy. But now it's gone.
Waaahhhh.

Edited to say, I can find Extras tab if I use IE. That'll work for me (for now). But it also looks like "journals" and "Trading" and "Glossary" are covering up the other few tabs. And yep, have refreshed, and shift-refresh.

Everything looks just as it always has to me (using IE)

"glossary" remains in white over "mail" and stays in place no matter if I click on bug files, home, plant files or any other item. Unable to use mail or anything else on that line.

using IE here also and all tabs work, but they start on the far left side now if that makes sense?

No matter what I use the tabs are not located properly. They seem to have added "Glossary & Trading" over "My Info", "Mail" and part of another tab. I responded in another thread just to draw attention to what seems like a "glitch" of some kind. I'm sure Dave or Terry will see it.

I made a pretty big change to the underlying markup of the header at DG today, to make it better in some areas, but it unfortunately made this problem.

Firstly, it's only happening if your browser is too narrow. If you're running at a low resolution on your computer, you can fix this by increasing to 1024x728 or higher.

As for why it's not centered, I'm using CSS now to specify the location, and Internet Explorer is a buggy browser that doesn't implement this web standard very well. This is why no Firefox users will notice a problem... I'm not really sure what to do to work around IE's bugs...

I'm still looking into this.

I'm using IE and am not having any problems (knock on wood!), everything looks just as it always has. (I'm on version 6 though, that may make a difference)

Hi - my tabs/banner sounds same as TBGDN; and, not sure if this relates, but after posting this morning, have been unable to post. Hopefully this will.

Dave, you know I never understand what you've done, but suddenly, the banner is back. It's been gone since I updated my Firefox. Glad to have it back.

The previous post did go - but still have "trading and glossary" over mail and myinfo. The setting is at 1024 x 768.

I went from 1024 X 720 (stretched) to 1152 X 768 and the white 'glossary' is still on top of 'mail', 'my info' and 'logout'. I have OSX, on a Mac of course. Also using firefox.

Thanks to Scott at NameMedia, the header should now be 100% fixed. Ya'll please let me know if you're still experiencing any problems.

Thanks, the banner is now fine - love the IT folks...

Finally getting a chance to visit the site and yep...all is working well for me, too...and no matter what settings I have it for. Thanks Dave and thanks Scott!
