I am sure I have forgotten to mention a lot of special things, but it is hard to remember everything, it was all very exciting.
Thank you Everybody for your kindness and generosity.

Your friends;
Josephine and Frank.
Thanks, Josephine. Everyone looks so happy and
glad to be there. It's nice to see what I missed.
Nice looking bunch of folks and it's good to be able
to put a face to some of the names.
Thank you frostweed for all these beautiful pictures of this wonderful day! They will help me know who is posting and will help me remember their faces.
As a new member and first timer to a roundup I cannot thank everyone enough for your generosity and kindness. Your generous offerings of carefully tended seedlings and cuttings will give my newly made beds a real start. Now to get all the plants in the ground and learn how to work with clay soil will keep me busy.
To Dave, I think this site is the coolest thing and my appreciation is endless.
Also thanks for the baby coral vine. I will do my best to get it going.
Special thanks to Kim for all your work in organizing this event. You did a great job!!!
Thank you for posting the pictures.
Sorry we had to leave, but all plants are safely in the ground.
Thanks again for a wonderful day.
"We'll be back!"
Bill & Linda
The pictures aren't the same as being there, but since I couldn't go, it was the best I can ask for. Thanks for sharing everyone.
No, CJ and I don't look that much alike, I am much older and have way more wrinkles!! LOL!
Clayton, is your address in the exchange? If you want I'll send you some more cuttings of the cactus orchid. I'm sorry those got baked in my car.:(
Trishann, that pot you gave me is perfect for a Cinnamon sticks hosta I ordered. It has solid green leaves and red stems. When you gave it to me I was thinking Ok I have to think of a really important plant to put in this one cause it's so pretty.:)
Throneofyord, what were those beautiful yellow la iris you brought? I already put them in the ground.
LindaTX's sweet friend Sheila found me towards the end of the day with a big pot of brown-eyed Susan's that she wanted to give to my big bunny.. Joy was SO excited when she saw them! She kept saying: "My flowers! Wow! That's so exciting!" LOL We planted them when we got home. I'll take a picture of Joy with them tomorrow. :-)
Here is a bunch of cactus someone brought. I don't know who brought them or who ended up with them, but they looked SO neat all together!!
I posted some more pictures in the Round Up pictures thread. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/717508/ We had a great time!! We've already planted most of the stuff we brought home. We need to put up some chicken wire up on our back fence for the New Dawn roses we got from Smock, and we need some planters for the yummy onions we got from Bob. I can't wait to start harvesting them! :-)
Thank you, everyone!!!!! :-)
TRISHANN.... Thank you so much for the lovely pot. Marylee and I was just discussing on a Hosta Thread how we wanted to start painting our own pots. Was the striped pot Kip was using for the drawing yours too? Would you please Dmail me the instructions on how to paint the pots? Did you say you painted them black first? How did you do the stripes? Do you use polyurethene as the top coat?
MARYLEE tell Amanda I really appreciated her helping me get my plants to Dawn's truck ... even if it was the WRONG truck. LOL She is a darling girl ... she really dont need to cook! lol
Sylvia, I just told her what you said. She's laughing. She said she'll tell her BF what you said when he says he's hungry.
Thanks guys for these wonderful photos! Sure wish I could have made it....dadgum it... Glad everyone had a great time and made it home safely.. :)
Melanie

I just wanted again to say thank you to everyone who helped make this roundup a success. My parents had no idea what to expect and were overwhelmed at the kindness people showed them. They loved meeting all of you and are so grateful for the plants that you brought. My dad said he had never seen such a wonderful gathering before. So thank you for making them feel welcome. Also a huge thank you to all who gave me plants, most of which I will be using to landscape their new place once they get moved. I had a terrific time and I think everyone else did too!

This is a great thread, thanks for taking the time!!
Judy
Kim, I think by the looks of it, you had more people there this year than last! You did a wonderful job of getting it all together. I am really sorry I didn't get to meet your parents, but will look forward to other times when I can, now that they are moving so close.
Sheila_FW
Thank you Judy, I had a great time doing it, it is all a lot of fun, and this time I went and wrote down everybody's name, so it was a lot easier.

Golden Columbine, Aquilegia chrysantha
Texas Native Plant.
I think I goofed on 3 of the plants I gave away. I don't remember who picked them up, but I told them they were daturas. I don't think they were. What ever they are, they came up in pots that I had planted daturas in last year. But since last year was the first year I have ever had daturas, I am not really familiar with them and I didn't realize my mistake. I noticed when datura seedlings started coming up in my yard that the leaves didn't look anything like what was in that pot. Oh no! What have I done? Whoever I gave them to, I promise I am not a dunce. Well maybe I am, sometimes, but not on purpose. Whatever is in those pots is probably something the birds planted. I'm sorry.:(
The good news is CJ, those black princess taros did multiply. Atleast one did. When I went to plant the new ones, I found little bitty baby ones. So I put some in the pot and the rest in the ground.
does anyone know who bernice is?
